An archeological zone 8 km away from Ihuatzio near the Patzcuaro Lake you'll find the "yacatas" (the name for this pyramids) and the sculpture of a Chac Mool. The Ihuatzio archaeological site, Tzintzuntzan, once the capital of the Purepecha.
