Wat Phra Keo photo copyrighted by: Kazuo Lim Khee Boon Ho Phra Keo was called "Wat Phra Keo" during the time that the statue was in residence
there.
This temple was built in A.D.1565 by King Xaisetathirat making it one of the oldest temples
in Vientiane and therefore no longer an active place of worship.
